Why we built this

In 2022, governments cut the internet.
People couldn't spend a cent.

Sudan. Myanmar. Iran. People couldn't buy food, pay rent, or send money home — even with USDC sitting in their wallets. Because every digital payment, crypto included, still needs an internet connection.

That single assumption — that the internet is always there — is the vulnerability. Not the money. The pipes.

On-device AI agent

A 4–8MB quantized model runs entirely on your phone. It validates transactions, estimates Arc fees, and routes through the mesh — no internet needed to send or receive a payment.

Bluetooth mesh relay

Signed transactions propagate peer-to-peer over BLE. Every device in range is a relay node. The mesh grows with users — no infrastructure needed.

Self-custodial & secure

Your private keys never leave your device. AES-256 encrypted at rest, unlocked with biometrics. No keys transmitted. Ever.

Arc settlement

Your agent monitors for connectivity in the background. When any device in the chain finds a signal, it batches and submits to Arc automatically. You never touch it.

How it works

Agent validates offline

You create a payment. Your on-device AI agent checks the amount, recipient, and balance — all locally. It signs the transaction with your private key and stores it in SQLite. No internet at any point.

Mesh relay

The signed transaction propagates peer-to-peer over Bluetooth. Every nearby Wayamesh device is a relay node. The payment hops through the mesh until it reaches its destination — or a device with connectivity.

Automatic Arc settlement

The payment already transferred the moment it was signed and relayed. Settlement on Arc is just the on-chain record — your agent handles it silently in the background whenever any device in the chain finds a connection. No action needed from you.
